FOR THE LOVE OF ANGEL


A book made by the fans, the cast and crew of Angel, the series for the fans, the cast, the crew and the creators of the show.


While working on the Fight the Good Fight Summer 2004 contest with marvelous online friends, it quickly appeared that it would be great to document the history of the enterprise showcasing the fan arts and essays submitted. We wanted to say good-bye to the show with a bang, and what a bang it ended up being. The quality of the prizes the participants won could not be compared or found elsewhere. The energy the fans put in it was so positive, we forgot to sulk over the cancellation of our beloved show.

The compilation is meant first as a gift to the people that brought us the series and will also be made available to the worldwide fan community the show has. It is a unique opportunity to thank all of those that worked in front and behind the camera for the tremendous, fascinating, and outstanding body of work they provided us.

The end purpose is to produce an actual quality book that will be the ultimate testament from the fans and the cast and crew to the creative mind behind it all, Joss Whedon.

It is a rare opportunity for fans to be able to voice their love for a show in such a creative manner and I can only be grateful to all the fans and site members that participated somehow in this amazing new form of a thank you campaign.

The book includes extremely thoughtful essays, magnificent hand drawings of the stars, multiple interviews of the cast and crew of the show, wallpapers, poems, and much more to give you the most perfect and well-rounded product about the show you grew attached too.

Fans from all over the world contributed, everything is translated in English except the drawings and wallpapers that just are so beautiful they speak to everyone’s heart no matter their nationality.

The people that participated will be able to purchase the book first at a reduced price and soon pre-order will be available for everyone. Please, check often the updates on its creation and release.
