Christian Kane originally auditioned for the part of Riley on Buffy the vampire slayer. The part went to his good friend Marc Blucas while Joss Whedon offered him a darker part in Angel, as an evil lawyer of the Wolfram & Hart firm. During three years Christian portrayed Lindsey Mcdonald, a major recurring role which became very popular. "I don't know if I am coming back. I didn't die so there is always a possibility," he admits and adds, "On that show even if you die you could come back as a series regular next year." He ultimately came back during season five, and is the only one with his best buddy David Boreanaz to have played in both the series premiere and final episode of Angel.

Born in Dallas texas on June 27, 1974, Christian often moved because his dad was in the oil business. The theaters were his second home, and Christian found his calling while watching Top Gun. He dropped out college and tried to make it in the city of dreams, Hollywood. He worked as a production assistant, hoping for the perfect project for him.

Christian soon landed his first lead role in FAME L.A. The show was based on the famous movie and hit series, and after hearing him sing, his character, Ryan Legget, became a musician as well. The show was on the air for only one year and Christian's next part was another leading role in the short lived series Rescue 77. Later that year he would earn worldwide recognition in the show Angel.

While his acting career was starting to take off with FAME L.A., Christian met Steve Carlson and together they founded the country band Kane. They won numerous prizes and soon their music went beyond the city limits, and the band performed in many places around the world. Christian has recently signed a record deal with Columbia Records Nashville.

Christian found success in both his musical and acting career. A few years later he played opposite his friend Marc Blucas in Summer Catch, then with Angelina Jolie in Life or Something Like It, and with Brittany Murphy and Ashton Kutcher in Just Married. His next challenge was the portrayal of Brian Cruver for the TV movie The Crooked E based on Brian's book about the major failure of Enron.

His credits also includes Steven Spielberg mini-series Into the West and Jerry Brukeimer TV show Close to home. Fans were also delighted to see him in 24: The game. Christian won several awards including Star on the horizon award at the FT. Lauderdale film festival for Keep your Distance and the special jury prize for acting achievement for his leading part in Her minor thing.

Christian will star next fall in the new TNT series Leverage.
